Every project is quoted individually based on size, complexity, and location. Reach out and I'll get you a clear estimate within two business days, no surprises. Commercial projects are quoted individually.
-
Yes. 30% to lock in your spot on the calendar and cover initial design work, 40% when I start painting, and the final 30% when you're happy with the finished wall. I take check, Venmo, Zelle, and bank transfer. Commercial projects can be invoiced on net-30 terms.

From first conversation to finished wall, most projects take 3 to 6 weeks. That includes design, picking colors, scheduling, and painting. Bigger or more complex walls take longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront.
-
We start with a conversation about your space and what you want it to feel like. I put together a design concept, we refine it together, and then I paint it. You're as involved as you want to be. Some clients want to help, some want to hand me the keys and come back to a finished wall.
-
Most people don't at first. That's what the conversation is for. I'll ask questions, show you examples, and help you figure out what will actually feel right in your space.
-
We won't get there. The whole reason I do a design concept first is so we can adjust before any paint touches the wall. Two rounds of revisions are built into every quote, and honestly, most projects only need one. If we're way off after that, something went wrong in our first conversation and we'll regroup.

Yes. Clean shapes, bold color, modern geometry. That's the work I love and the work I do best.
-
Of course. My full portfolio lives Instagram @studiopearlmd.
-
Definitely. Not every room needs a full accent wall. I can create canvases of all size or even break them up into triptychs.
-
That's a big part of what we figure out together. I'll ask about your furniture, your other art, the light in the room, and what you want the space to feel like. Color choices come out of that conversation. The mural we create will belong in your space, not fight it.
-
Yes. Branded accent walls, lobbies, conference rooms, team-building experiences. I've set it up so teams can be as hands-on as they want.
-
Currently, I focus on indoor walls.
-
Indoor murals painted with quality wall paint will look great for 10+ years with normal wear.
-
Yes. Life happens. Furniture gets bumped into walls, kids get creative with markers, weather does its thing outside. I offer touch-ups at an hourly rate, and I keep records of the exact paint colors used on every project so matches are seamless. For commercial clients I can set up an annual maintenance check if that's useful.

I'm based in Silver Spring, MD and work throughout the DMV: DC, Bethesda, Takoma Park, Rockville, and surrounding areas. For projects further out, let's talk.

Minor stuff (small holes, hairline cracks, scuffs) I handle as part of prep. Bigger issues like water damage, major repairs, or removing wallpaper need to be sorted out before I arrive, either by you or a contractor. I'll flag anything I see during our walkthrough so there are no surprises.
-
Not much. Move furniture away from the wall, make sure the space is clean and accessible, and let me know about any pets or schedule constraints. I bring everything else.
-
Absolutely. Family involvement is one of my favorite parts of residential projects. Anyone can help laying down the tape and creating the design. The more hands on deck, the faster the painting goes. It can be great family bonding and gives a deep sense of ownership over the final product.
